Newsletter - December 2009
It has been a busy fall so far with November just flying by with a solid string of courses, tastings and events combined with a brief trip to Washington's Lake Chelan AVA. Some very promising wines from the region that is quite similar to the Okanagan-Similkameen.

10 YEAR OLD OKANAGAN WINE TASTINGS:
The first 10 Year Tasting of Okanagan wines was completed last weekend in Kelowna and the local wines showed a great potential for aging. There are still some spaces for this Saturday's (Dec 5, 2-4pm) event in Penticton and we have some fantastic wines from the 1997 to 1999 vintages. This tasting is a fascinating look at how Okanagan wines age and should be a must for all winemakers and wine lovers to see the different styles and how they are likely to mature. Register by email . The cost is $75 (+GST). (Panel from 2008 tasting pictured right)
